Airfield Models (http://www.airfieldmodels.com/)This is a list of the models I can remember building but did not photograph for whatever reason.  The list is longer than this, but my memory is not as good as it used to be.

I rarely build two of the same model unless I killed one and liked it so much that I had to build another.  Sometimes a good offer is made by a fellow flier at the airfield so I will part with the original and build a new one for myself.  At times I have built a model on commission and another flyer would ask that I build one for him as well.

R/C Models

  • Ace Mach None
  • Airtronics Q-Tee (two built)
  • Balsa USA 1/3 scale Sopwith Pup with Quadra 2.0 engine
  • Balsa USA EAA Bipe
  • Bridi RCM Trainer 40 (one is shown on the Miscellaneous R/C Models page, but I have built three in total)
  • Carl Goldberg Falcon 56
  • Concept Models 1/4 scale Fleet Biplane
  • Dave Platt Bücker Jungmeister
  • House of Balsa .20 P-51 Mustang
  • House of Balsa 1/12 Focke Wulfe 190
  • Flyline Models Fairchild 22
  • Kyosho Concept 30
  • Kyosho Sportavia (kit, not ARF)
  • Kyosho Tradewinds
  • Proctor Nieuport 28 (two built on commission)
  • Royal F8F Bearcat
  • Sig Kommander
  • Sig Kougar (two built)
  • Sig Smith Miniplane (two built — both sold at the local flying field.  Currently have a new Miniplane under construction.)
  • Sterling 1/2A Corsair
  • Top Flight P-47 (old style with formed balsa fuselage sides)
  • VK Nieuport 17

Control-Line Models

  • Top Flight .35 P-51 (designed for control line)
  • Guillow's 28" Sopwith Camel for control line using a Cox Medallion .09 engine.  I have a new kit in the box to be converted to R/C some day.  It was in Army storage for nearly 10 years in the same box as my wife's perfume.  It is the prettiest smelling kit I have ever owned.
  • Sig Twister
  • Sig Akrobat
  • Carl Goldberg Lil' Satan (built a handful of these)
  • A lot that I do not know what they were. When you spend your life doing what you love, life goes by in a blur.
