Airfield Models (http://www.airfieldmodels.com/)About AMT/Ertl Star Wars Imperial Tie Fighters

To be absolutely honest I don't remember much about building these models.  I do remember that they came as a set of two identical kits with a base and that's about it so I don't have much to say about them.

I built them somewhere in the 2000-2001 range.  The only thing I remember about building them was masking the solar panels.  Until this the base wasn't painted.  While I was finishing up Darth Vader's Tie Fighter I decided to go ahead and finish the base for this kit since I had the colors already mixed and my airbrushes were warmed up.

And that's the extent of my article about these kits.  I wish I could tell you more but a lot of things have happened since I built these and the memories of the project are long faded.
