"Great site Paul, I enjoyed reading of your designs. I scratch built a Stik of the same size, unfortunately I covered it all over with a similar pink, it would disappear into the blue sky! I found out later that pink is a complementary colour for blue and sort of 'moves' or blends in, apparently WWII Spitfire observation aircraft were painted pink for this reason!. Kind regards, Wayne, Western Australia."

"WOW! I have been in R/C aircraft a little over 2 years, and I have never found such helpful, pertinent information anywhere, even in the books on R/C. Thank you so much for sharing all this information with all of us. What a generous offering! I have found answers to questions that I have had about MANY subjects regarding the hobby and can use all the info. Some of it is just not printed anywhere, or at least where one can access it. This would make a great book that I would recommend to anyone who is entering the hobby, and many of the older hands too. Again, I appreciate the time, effort and information that you have compiled. Thanks again, Bruce Schratz, M.D. President, Mid-Arkansas Radio Control Society (MARCS) Little Rock, Arkansas"

I'm a New Zealander currently working as an English Teacher in Hong Kong. I used to do a lot of control line modeling while growing up in South Africa (before I immigrated). Currently I want to get into Radio Controlled models. I loved your site. Loads of good tips and interesting links. I especially like your philosophy and approach to what you do. I like to do things in a similar fashion. Regards Andrew

"great site! I rub chalk on my files before using them; it is supposed to help keep particles from sticking in the teeth, something you mentioned you had trouble with. I still have to use a scribe to clean out particles occasionally. Kerosene is also supposed to help, but dunking a file before working would leave a mess."

"Paul, it is a pleasure to meet you and your ""Passion."" As a model builder for 70 years, you (for me) represent the best in modeling. I have a saying that I use in reference to the people who populate the local flying site - ""If you build it, it's a hobby, (hence the term 'Model Builder'). - If you buy it, it's a toy."" Keep up the good work. - Norm Rosenstock, AMA Historian"

"Wow, what can I say. This is a great website. I'm very excited to start a new kit (sorta scratch though) build of a large bipe, and am amazed as to how helpful this site will be to me. PLEASE make sure you pay your hosting fees for at least the next few months. :D"
