The technique described for leaving the wood finish under the fiberglass worked great for me also, thanks a lot sharing it as all the rest of the information. It was the first time I glassed anything and encountered no problems, except the glass kept whrinkling and bubbling on a 1/32 hard plywood hatch I made. After several trys I just clamped it with plenty of resin under a lot of magazines, over a piece of glass. Problem solved. Fortunately it was a flat hatch! |
